Oh. My. God. I really am stuck for words. This book blew me away. Even days later I can't get it out of my head.

This review is gonna be short and sweet because I'm not gonna mention anything about the plot. This is the type of book that I recommend you go in blind. As the story progressed there were so many wonderful surprises that my heart nearly exploded. The characters, oh god they were all amazing. Alice was one of the best female protagonists I have ever come across. She was so kick-ass and feisty and so well written. All the characters were. Such a variety of personalities, I loved them all. And Finn? Swoon! You will fall head over heels for this guy.

I also adored Lyons' writing style. The book was so intelligently written and the words just flowed effortlessly across the page. And the attention to detail! I can't imagine how much research Lyons did for this series. I am in complete awe. One of the most creative and unique books I have ever read. There were a few grammar mistakes but because I got an eARC I am not gonna mark down for that. I will assume the final copy doesn't have them.

Everything about this book was flawless. Pure gold. Not only one of my favourite reads of the year, but of all time. I cannot recommend this one enough! Now bring on book 2!
